HAKAN

Hakan means fire. I feel a deep connection with Native American:
through dance I get in trance and I can let go of my persona, my ego, how I identify myself in the society, the pressure of success. To release my grief, I connect with my sensuality, to heal and surrender. I need to be exhausted to feel a sense of alienation, experiencing freedom. Human beings are using transcendental dance rituals to create and canalize energy to connect with themselves and with the community, to believe and manifest their energy.

NARCISO

Narcissus stands out as a very current figure in our society. A metaphor of our times where hedonism and individualism are predominant, where the image and its modification are the filter with which to present oneself. Narcissus, at the same time, becomes a reflected reality from which to flee and find a way to show himself to others, not only for his appearance, but for how he is in reality, that is, a vulnerable and at times dark soul far from the pleasantness of his appearance.

MEOHADIM

Five sisters bring Meohadim to life, sharing their experiences through movement music and voice. Eyes studying the space, hinting while narrating through whispers and screaming the fight to express their past in the present day. How did their experience affect the rest? How do they silently communicate using their intuition to become one? Movement that contradicts itself. Velvet showing its two faces, the tension in between the rough and the soft describing the emotional contrast that we are all a part of. In their unbridled song Blanca, Helena, Julia, Lara and Naya open their souls and let their truth be flourish.

Interpreters Blanca Tolsá, Helena Hernáez, Julia Sanz, Lara Misó, Naya Monzón
