Premio Roma Danza 2021

Born in 2001 under the patronage of the President of the Republic, the Roma Danza Prize, over the course of almost twenty years has made itself known and appreciated by performers, choreographers, artists and critics from all over the world. The Competition represents the opportunity that intends to enhance and bring out new talents, offering them the opportunity to be observed and evaluated by leading names in the national and world dance scene. Many illustrious names in dance who have presided over the jury over the years including Vladimir Vassiliev, Ekaterina Maximova, Maya Plisetskaya, Liliana Cosi, Germaine Acogny, and the same Carla Fracci to whom the Prize this year, given her recent death , will dedicate a particular mention. In all 19 editions that count over a thousand participants including young promises, future professionals and established choreographers who have chosen the stage of the Teatro Grande all'Aperto dell'AND as a place of meeting and comparison for an artistic career in the name of art of the interpretation and composition of the dance.
